Tanya truly Loves children and it shows in a big way at her performances for them. Children Love Tanya as well often rushing up to hug her and share their latest news! She has extensive experience working with children from infancy on up including special needs children. Even Grandmas, Grandpas, Moms and Dads have a great time with Tanya. She has a way of engaging everyone in attendance. Parties are age appropriate from the baby crawlers to the 'big boys' who want to be like Spiderman and crawl the walls (there will be no wall crawling at parties. Only pretending.)! Tanya comforts the children by beginning with a hello/transition song and few songs they are familiar with. She has been teaching for over a decade, and entertaining children since she was a child herself. She knows most classic children's songs as well as contemporary hits. The children love Tanya's original children's songs, her guitar "Lucy", and her Love for all things purple including her guitar pics. Her songs are fun, sweet, occasionally down right silly, cool and always rockin'! They incorporate early learning concepts, excite the children's imaginations, and some include dance steps or other movement cues as well as finger plays. Tanya's work with children offers support for meeting emotions, being gentle with friends and animals and soooooo much more. She includes classic rock tunes with her own child friendly twists that adults love too. Tanya's party bag is stuffed with instruments that are age appropriate, safe, and of course, washed all the time. It is also packed with creative props that add dimension to songs. Her puppets all have names, personalities and a teaching message.

Rockin Read•A•Long
Classic and hip to the minute children's stories are turned inside out and upside down by taking them apart and blowing them up through song, syncopation and movement.

The ttk bag is always packed with a special collection of props to elicit an imaginary environment or activity.

Tanya is a very talented singer with a huge vocal range and a vast repertoire. Tanya has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Town Hall, and many other venues in Manhattan and beyond for children and adults. She received part of her training at the American Music and Dramatic Academy and the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. She has performed since she was eight years old, and performing professionally since high school. Her musical background ranges from opera to rock and everything in between . She performs her own heart felt, melodic rock for adults, as well as her smart, savvy and hip material for children. Tanya has been working with children in Manhattan for twenty years. For the last ten years she has been teaching Mommy and Me classes as well as classes in many of the finest preschools.
